I want a website built for my business, how long will it take?
It really depends on how big the website is going to be, i.e. how much information will be going on the site itself and whether or not you have pre-existing logos etc.
To have a 5 day turnaround for a basic website (budget) you would need to have all of your (text) information in Microsoft Word® format and all of your images in their original format (not pre-edited) in either jpg or tiff format on a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. If there are only a couple of image files, via email is fine.
I've already purchased webhosting/domain name from another and/or I'm stuck with a 12 month contract. Do I have to have my site hosted with WattleGum Web Works if you build my site?
No, not at all. There are certain details that will be required when it comes time to uploading your new site built by WattleGum, such as FTP login and password details. These can be generally changed to something else by either you or your existing host after it's been uploaded, or if you're confident with these procedures yourself, the website can be sent via email or CD (at an additional cost to include postage) once payment had been finalised.
